The Capital Controller focuses on managing the financial and operational aspects of a project to ensure it stays on track and within budget. They work closely with project managers and stakeholders to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement strategies to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management
  • Creating and maintaining project budgets.
  • Tracking and controlling project costs and expenses.
  • Developing and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Providing financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Project Monitoring and Reporting
  • Tracking project progress against the schedule and budget.
  • Identifying and analyzing potential variances.
  • Preparing project progress reports and dashboards.
  • Communicating project status and risks to stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identifying and assessing project risks and developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Project Planning and Scheduling: Assisting in the development of project plans and schedules. Monitoring project timelines and ensuring adherence to deadlines.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience
• Proficiency in project management software and tools. Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred
• PMP is a bonus
• Experience within Project Management and/or Construction Management
• Experience with financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Experience in project cost control and budgeting.
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
