Project Engineer / Junior Project Manager
Elizabethtown, Kentucky
Contract to hire: M-F on site role

Our client is launching a new industrial facility and is seeking a Project Engineer / Manager to assist in the construction and project coordination of this new plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with contractors on removing the uninstalled industrial equipment currently being stored
  • Tracking where the uninstalled equipment is being taken. The equipment will either go to a warehouse in Tennessee or be disassembled and scraped.
  • Support the client’s team in identifying areas in the plant where temporary offices can be set up for Tier 1 onsite vendors.
  • Layout Support for temporary offices and workspaces during the project
  • Attend the Daily Whiteboard meetings as a representative of the client
  • Support issue resolution during the site clearing and new equipment installation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years engineering or site construction management experience
  • Degree in engineering, construction management or similar
  • Experience in electric vehicle battery manufacturing, battery manufacturing or automotive preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and communication Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
