    POSITION SUMMARY:

    This results-oriented management position will be responsible for identifying opportunities to build efficiencies and drive continuous improvement throughout the department and organization, with a focus on process engineering, new technology implementation, and change management for positive, sustainable adoption. The manager has a focus on aligning business processes and tools with business KPIs, enhancing revenue, and improving product quality. The Manager will also lead technical teams to identify and integrate new technologies, processes, and products that enhance Client's' global technical and commercial solutions capabilities.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Must be knowledgeable about key aspects of process engineering, renewable energy production, petrochemical applications, water purification processes, and related industries.
    • Lead technical efforts in the arena of process technology evaluation and selection, facility mass-energy balance, physical property assessment, Process Flow diagrams, control methodologies, and reaction kinetics.
    • Participate in facility P&ID peer review, internal and external HAZOPs, and safety management strategies.
    • Lead efforts to predict OPEX costs for use in evaluation of competing technologies.
    • Manage and develop personnel within the Process Engineering group and outside of the group to further progress Client's’s process-type customer base and project results. Drive and manage recruiting, training, performance reviews, salary administration, and succession planning. Establish and achieve goals that result in team building and increase in subject matter expertise.
    • Responsible for project and change management activities for establishing effective communication with internal and external customers and key stakeholders to facilitate evaluation, metric measurement, and improvement of ERP, CRM, and ISO systems.
    • Lead technical teams for the evaluation of target proprietary technologies to support commercialization through acquisition and organic development.
    • Manage and guide others through all phases of process engineering development and execution. Lead quality assurance measures regarding process engineering efforts.
    • Assess and optimize business processes and systems to maximize customer satisfaction globally.
    • Present concepts to customers with technical backgrounds, such as Engineers and Discipline Managers, as well as those with backgrounds in Finance or Marketing.
    • Travel domestically and internationally 5-10% per year.

    OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct activities safely and healthily and work per established safety and company requirements.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. Post-graduate work in Engineering, an Engineering-related field, and business field is preferred.
    • Professional Engineering registration is preferred.
    • At least 20 years of experience related to process engineering of products and technologies being integrated into large-scale turnkey projects and facilities.
    • Ability to manage and analyze data and present summarized reports.
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
    • Exceptional attention to detail.
    • Excellent organization and planning skills.
    • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
    • Computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based programs are required.
    • Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
    • Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and other business contacts.
    • Must comply with core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and maintain sound relationships among and with employees.
