Planner/Scheduler

The Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining construction plans and schedules in the industrial sector.

    • Lead project teams in interactive planning sessions to develop work-flow plans, schedules, and detailed labor plans
    • Develop and maintain construction schedules ranging from level 1 thru level 4.
    • Set up Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in Oracle Primavera 6 or Microsoft Project scheduling software.
    • Responsible for resource loading the schedule.
    • Ensure the entry of logic ties within the schedules.
    • Analyze resource loading and craft productivity for possible impact to the project schedule
    • Perform routine site walks as part of the progress updating and monitoring process
    • Create various schedule reports and determine appropriate reporting format.
    • Consult with project controls team on schedule progress.
    • Develop and present earned value tracking document.
    • Manage schedule interfaces between supporting engineering, procurement, subcontractors and owner plans.
    • Analyze and report on data from Oracle Primavera P6.
    • Develop pre-programmed project scheduling reports in P6 and review and analyze back-up documentation for accuracy.
  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
    • 5-8 years of planning and scheduling experience utilizing Primavera P6.
    • Industry experience scheduling in Semiconductor, Pharma, Oil & Gas or other mechanical process industries.
    • Ability to work independently, think creatively and analytically, and make quick and sound decisions.
    • Written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
    • Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 (V15.1 or later).
    • May be required to obtain an OSHA 10 hour safety certification.
    • Willingness to accept long term field assignments.
