Job Description

Mechanical Engineer - Refinery Equipment
5 Openings: 2 Rotating Equipment Openings, 2 Static Equipment Openings, & 1 Piping Engineering Focus

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare specifications for pumps and compressors (Rotating) OR vessels & tanks (Static) OR Piping.
  • Perform equipment technical bid evaluations and prepare recommendations.
  • Review vendor documents for compliance to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Attend Client, Vendor, and Internal Team meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of industrial equipment experience working in the Refining, Petrochemical or Chemical Industry.
  • Good Communication Skills (Active Listening, Verbal, and Written)
  • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work in an interactive and open team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others.
