Job Description
Mechanical Engineer - Static Equipment
Our Client is seeking Static Equipment Engineers to support one of our key Refining and Petrochemical Industry Clients with the requisitioning, technical bid evaluation, and vendor document review of various static equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare specifications for vessels, exchangers, tanks, and other process industry static equipment.
Perform static equipment technical bid evaluations and prepare recommendations.
Review static equipment vendor documents for compliance to project specifications and industry standards.
Attend Client, Vendor, and Internal Team meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
10+ years of static equipment experience working in the Refining, Petrochemical or Chemical Industry.
Good Communication Skills (Active Listening, Verbal, and Written)
Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work in an interactive and open team environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others.
