Hexagon SDx Document Control Specialist

This position will assist the document control team and Project Managers to deliver quality materials and input information on engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates to create standards and procedures for document management team
• Communicates document management procedures with project team members
• Review vendor document submittals for adherence to company document control guidelines
• Review internal documents for adherence to company document control guidelines
• Train internal and external users on functionality of document management software
• Provide guidance and support to clients, contractors, vendors, and internal project team members
• Notifies appropriate person of troubleshooting issues regarding vendors and clients
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications:

• Experience in the technical management of physical and electronic documents
• Experience working with engineering and/or constructions firms
• Knowledge of software and best practices related to document management
• Experience with Hexagon SDx document management software is HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Good skills in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Hard working, efficient, and highly motivated to produce quality work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

High School Diploma/GED and 3 years applicable experience
