Qualifications:
Here is what you’ll need: 
 
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering
• At least 10 years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems  
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards
• Experience with UPS and EPMS systems
• Experience with generator sizing and paralleling.
• At least 3 years of Semiconductor, Data Center and/or Mission Critical facilities electrical design experience
• Extensive experience with electrical engineering power distribution design projects, mission critical facilities experience is a plus.
• Extensive design experience with electrical power system equipment/components such as Switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc.
• Team leadership and client interaction experience
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  
• Project lead experience
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas. 
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base. 
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams. 
• Passionate about buildings and construction 
 
Ideally, you’ll also have: 
• Professional Engineering License (PE)
• Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
• Medium Voltage (MV) design experience.
Responsibilities:
We’re looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business (hybrid role in Portland, OR). Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing facilities. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.  You’ll also provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting, and power plans. 

You’ll also assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process, interacting directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site. You and your team will work closely with client owners in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.
