What you will need to succeed…

  • Technical Electrical Construction knowledge within industrial automation systems and overall plant processes.
  • Ability to execute design / build projects in an industrial environment
  • Read/comprehend blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, formulas, and P&ID’s
  • 1 years project management experience in the oil & gas, chemical, corn refining sectors.
  • or 3 years of commercial project experience
  • Experience in turnarounds/shutdowns.
  • Ability to plan/organize work and interpret/communicate technical information.
  • Able to execute and deliver results on multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Valid government-issued Driver’s License.
  • Proof of Work Authorization.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Be willing to travel to different states.

Preferred experience…

  • Accubid estimating software experience preferred
  • Experience in MSA’s and contracts preferred

What you will do…

  • Drive Safety Culture. Hold project teams accountable for following safety policy. Attend Site Safety Meetings as needed.
  • Estimate material, personnel, and time requirements to complete projects.
  • Coordinate all aspects of project proposals including timely proposal submissions, budgets, scheduling, staffing, and material purchasing.
  • Examine work orders to determine appropriate course of action.
  • Study blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures.
  • Perform take-offs.
  • Draft change orders.
  • Order material/parts.
  • Request personnel for ongoing and future projects.
  • Manage Electricians, Foreman and whole project on site
  • Coordinate multiple projects on a continuing basis.
  • Provide start to finish support and follow-up to customers and the project foreman to ensure company quality and performance standards are reached.
  • Work with project foreman to develop goals and a plan to complete projects.
  • Ensure that work is performed according to appropriate codes/guidelines.
  • Communicate with supervisors, peers, subordinates, or customers to provide/receive information by telephone, two-way radio, in written form, in person or by email.
  • Use computer systems to enter, access or retrieve data.
  • Work closely with the Accounting Department to ensure accurate billing is conducted.
  • Request and be present for municipality inspections.
  • Complete appropriate forms, reports, and other required paperwork.
  • Develop new business initiatives.
  • Attend staff and sales meetings
